Why is deforestation a problem?

Did you know that deforestation can: cause floods, increase in greenhouse gasses and cause climate change?

Deforestation can be caused because of farming, livestock homing, cutting down trees for human use, increasing human used structures (roads, buildings etc.) and overpopulation. You may have noticed that these are mostly out of human selfishness. These are the conciquences: well, trees produce oxygen and we cant live without oxygen so when the trees are gone so are we ! also deforestation can also cause problems with the water cycle, this is because deforestation can cause unfertile soil which can cause blocked waterways which is linked with the water cycle.
